Importing into FreeAgent

In FreeAgent go to Banking > select account > Upload statement and choose the downloaded file. FreeAgent imports a 3 column CSV (date, amount, description). The payout split is provided as a separate journal CSV.

When you'd use this instead of a bank feed

Bank feeds cover the last 12 months at most and only from the day you connect them. Historic periods, closed accounts, accounts a client won't connect, and statements handed over as PDFs at year end all need a file import. That is what this is for.
